American history comes to life at libraries!

Come connect and celebrate the stories from history that have shaped our communities and our country.

Member libraries are offering a wide range of history programs, including author and historian talks, genealogy workshops, movie screenings, and presentations from local organizations.

Many member libraries are also marking America’s 250th anniversary with nonpartisan programs that reflect many voices and help people explore the past.
