Parking
The City of Waukesha has a variety of parking available in historic downtown Waukesha. Visit the City of Waukesha Municipal Parking page for more information.
There are several parking options near Bridges Library System offices:
- On street parking: There are two hour parking spots available around our building on South Street, Grand Avenue, and Broadway Street.
- Public parking lot: There is a municipal parking lot (Lot 9) one block east of our building at the corner of South Street and Gaspar Street (between Barstow Street and Grand Avenue) with 2 hour free parking spots.
- South Street Parking Ramp: There are two entrances for the parking ramp on South Street and Wisconsin Avenue. Clearance is listed at 6 feet 6 inches. Parking on the 2nd or 3rd floor makes it easy to access our building via the attached skywalk to the Center City Plaza. Please do not park in reserved spots.
- This parking ramp utilizes license plate scanners for paid parking after 2 hours. Payment for parking is a fully-online payment system. It requires the creation of a customer account in their portal.
- Visit the parking website or scan the QR Code located on the ramp to purchase parking.
- 2 hours of parking or less is free.
- Over 2 hours up to 24 hours is $3.50.
