Adult Services Librarian – Mukwonago Community Library
Hours: 40 hours per week. The regular year-round schedule includes weekdays, one evening per week, and one Saturday every two months.

The Mukwonago Community Library seeks a passionate, team-oriented candidate with exceptional interpersonal skills and a commitment to innovative library service to join our dynamic Collections & Programs Team. Under the supervision of the Associate Director of Collections and Programs, the Adult Services Librarian will provide leadership in adult programming, collection development, outreach services, and reference services while fostering meaningful community partnerships.
This multifaceted role combines traditional library services with cutting-edge collaboration and community leadership. Beyond our walls, you’ll lead outreach initiatives to homebound patrons and assisted living facilities, and spearhead community partnerships such as coordinating AARP tax preparation services and Memory Cafes. You’ll work with our Lead Innovator in the MetaSpace 511 makerspace, gaining hands-on experience with everything from laser machines to 3D printers while developing engaging adult programming. As our reference leader, you’ll mentor new staff and supervise all Info Desk operations. You’ll also take ownership of developing and cataloging our adult collections, using data-driven insights and professional expertise to ensure materials truly serve community needs.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Required Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Library Science (MLS) or Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science (MLIS) from an American Library Association accredited program
- Skilled in utilizing technology to conduct all aspects of the job including communication, record keeping, and customer service
- Ability to communicate in a friendly and cooperative manner to staff and library visitors
- Strong leadership capabilities with enthusiasm for training and mentoring staff
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Two (2) years of related library work experience with preference for adult services or reference experience
- Experience with outreach services (homebound delivery, assisted living programming, )
- Demonstrated ability to develop and manage community partnerships
- Technology proficiency with interest in innovative service delivery methods
- Experience with Polaris Integrated Library System (ILS) for cataloging, circulation, and collection

Business Manager – Mukwonago Community Library
Hours: 25 hours per week, flexible schedule but must be available for a schedule that meets the needs of the Library Board

Pay Rate: $22.58 – $27.30 an hour depending upon experience
The Mukwonago Community Library seeks a highly organized, detail-oriented professional with a strong accounting background as our next Business Manager. This part-time position reports directly to the Library Director and serves as the financial and operational hub of the library, with responsibilities spanning accounts payable, budget tracking, cash flows, and administrative and human resources support. Facilities management is a significant component of the role, including oversight of our Custodian and weekend custodial company, vendor and contractor coordination, and ongoing communication with the Village of Mukwonago’s Department of Public Works. The ideal candidate manages multiple priorities with calm and confidence, works independently, and adapts to shifting demands. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required, as is discretion with confidential information and a flexible schedule that meets the needs of the Library Director and Library Board.

Circulation Clerk I – Johnson Creek Public Library
The Johnson Creek Public Library is currently accepting applications for a part-time Circulation Clerk I. The position requires a forward thinking, creative, and adaptable individual who is organized, able to work independently, and prioritizes tasks. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service; show a strong attention to detail; enjoy and embrace change; be proficient with computers, personal electronic devices, and social media; be comfortable with independent decision making; can work solo or as part of a team; and possess a strong work ethic.
Hours: Part-time – 8 hours a week average
Salary: $14.60-$14.80/hour
Preference will be given to those with Library experience and/or education. The schedule will include Wednesdays 9-1, every other Friday 11-5, and 1-2 rotating Saturdays a month. This schedule may require an evening shift in the future. Flexible availability is a plus.

Library Director- Alice Baker Memorial Library
The Alice Baker Memorial Library, located in the Village of Eagle, Wisconsin, is accepting applications for the position of Library Director. This position serves as the chief administrative and executive officer of the library and is responsible for the overall management, operation, and supervision of library services, personnel, facilities, and resources. Library Clerks (part time) – Big Bend Village Library
Big Bend Village Library is looking for two customer service-oriented persons to work in the small village of Big Bend as part-time library clerks. Big Bend Village Library is a small, community supported library, part of the Bridges Library System. Our goal is to provide personalized service to our patrons.
2 positions available:
- Monday/Wednesday 3-7pm, and once-a-month Friday 2-6pm and Sat 10-1pm rotation
- Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday 1-4pm, and once-a-month Friday 2-6pm and Sat 10-1pm rotation
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The following duties are standard for this position. Other duties may be required and assigned.
Assist with routine circulation desk procedures including:
- Materials check-in/out
- Patron registration
- Fee processing
- Preparing library materials for deliveries
- Assisting patrons with reference and reader’s advisory questions, database searching, and digital use
- Shelving and mending library materials
- Recording and handling cash transactions
- Enforcing library policies and procedures
Tools and Equipment Used:
Computer, Internet, Library Computer Software, a variety of online tools and resources, copier and scanner, phone, and library digital devices.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, preference given to a college degree
- Prior library experience is desirable.
