Participants enjoyed a journey through history and mystery to discover amazing treasures at all 24 public libraries in Waukesha and Jefferson Counties.
How did it work?
Visitors were invited to explore all 24 member library locations to locate unique treasures and keywords. They collected stamps for a chance to win prizes and discover libraries. The adventure could start at any one of the 24 member library locations.
- Pick up a Treasure Adventure Map. Each family member was welcome to have their own map.
- Solve the clue to locate the library’s treasure and write down the keyword.
- Visit the designated library desk to get the map stamped for a chance to win prizes each month. One map and stamp per person. Must be present to receive stamp.
- Next, visit more libraries and repeat the quest throughout the library system.

An active Bridges Library System CAFÉ card was required to be eligible to win. (See the winners list below). Have your library card number on hand to fill out the form, or get a new library card while visiting. A CAFÉ card gives borrowing privileges at all 24 libraries and access to shared digital collections.
- When any eight Bridges library keywords and stamps were collected, participants filled out one entry form to submit to the monthly prize drawings.
- Visit 16 libraries to earn a second entry.
- Visit all 24 libraries to earn two more entries. That was four chances to win! Only one winner per household.
- The last day to collect keywords, get stamped, and turn in any prize drawing entry forms was August 31, 2024.
- Winners were drawn by system staff and notified via email or phone at the beginning of July, August, and September 2024.
What were the prizes?
An active Bridges Library System CAFÉ card was required to be eligible to win. A CAFÉ card gives borrowing privileges at all 24 libraries and access to shared digital collections. Only one winner per household. Entries roll over each month.
Great prizes were awarded each month!
Prizes were drawn randomly by system staff at the beginning of July, August and September from the paper entry forms received. Winners were contacted by phone or email to arrange for pick up.
