Hunt for friendly bigfoots hidden throughout Bridges Library System libraries this summer!

How does it work?
Visitors are invited to explore all 24 member library locations to hunt for bigfoots. The hunt runs Monday, June 1 – Friday, August 21, 2026.

Players pick up their Bigfoot map at the library of their choice to start the hunt. Everyone is welcome to have their own map, one per player. There is no age limit or requirement to participate.
- At each library, players will hunt for the library bigfoot!
- Once the bigfoot is located, players add footprint stamps and record the bigfoot’s name on their map.
- Then, players can enter to win prizes at each library they visit by filling out an entry form and submitting it in the box. Only one entry per player, per library location.
- The more libraries a player visits, the more chances there are to win!
- Libraries can be visited in any order.

- An active Bridges Library System CAFÉ library card is required to be eligible to win prizes. There is no library card requirement to simply participate.
A CAFÉ card gives borrowing privileges at all 24 member libraries and access to shared digital collections.
Checking out items is not required, but is always encouraged. Most items may be returned to any Bridges member library. - There’s a total of twelve (12) $50 Gift Cards available to win!
- The last day to complete the hunt and submit entry forms is Friday, August 21, 2026.
- Winners will be selected randomly by Bridges Library System staff on September 1, 2026.
- Winners will be contacted by phone or email to arrange their prize pick up from a library of their choice.
