Tell Your Library Story

We all love a good story. For librarians, hearing from the public about how libraries have transformed and impacted their lives is especially gratifying. But most importantly, when the public shares their library stories, it demonstrates to others just how necessary and important libraries are for our communities.

On Saturday, November 4th, we will be at the Southeast Wisconsin Festival of Books to record YOUR stories. Was there a librarian who led you to a favorite book when you were young? Did you get a job after using library services? Did the library help your child find joy in reading? We invite you to get in front of the camera and tell us what your library means to you.

Our video pop-up booth will be at the Southeast Wisconsin Festival of Books in Waukesha on Saturday, November 4th from 8:45 a.m.-5:30 p.m. The Festival of Books is free and open to the public so you can drop in anytime. Stop by and tell us your story. We’d love to hear what you have to say! Can’t make it to the festival? Tell us your story through our online form!
