The film takes place in Cincinnati during a brutal cold blast. The public library suddenly turns from being a safe haven for homeless patrons to a potential war zone when those who have no place to go to evade the cold weather after the library closes and stages a sit in. The story continues to unfold as library staff members, library administrators and law enforcement officials grapple with following the rule of law versus human compassion.

View and discuss this film with fellow library colleagues as we look at the role of public libraries, the needs of people who struggle with issues related to homelessness and get ready for the upcoming online training on how libraries can be inclusive, work with those who are homeless and marginalized people, reduce problems and conflict.

Popcorn will be served!
